These people will know who they are by the time of the meeting. We will all be meeting in the old bar from 7pm. My e-mail address is bs06nch@leeds.ac.uk or you can mail the club mailbox through the "contact us" link on the tab bar.Can all members from last year who are still around please come along on Sunday from 12pm as well.Good Luck!!-----------------------------------------------------------------------Squash AGM 2008Tuesday 6th May - 6pm - ARC Meeting Room 8The following positions are available as part of the Leeds University Squash Club Committee for the forthcoming 2008/2009 year: Club Captain: Oversees all. Has a part to play in everything, ensuring each position is linking well with the others. Will determine training times, have a say in team captains, work with the Director of Squash and lead the Squash Club into hopefully it’s best year yet! Vice Captain: Works alongside the Club Captain in any general business, specifically focussing on sponsorship and advertisement of the club. The Vice Captain will play a vital role in the recruiting process and raising the profile of the Club. Treasurer: Works in budget management for the club, will deal with specific transactions such as membership, kit, tournaments and liaise with the appropriate members of the committee for these purposes. Kit Secretary (new position!): Next year kit will hopefully play a very important role in the club. We need someone to organise the BUSA kit, provided by Kukri, including tracksuits and training wear. More than that, of real importance is the availability of social t-shirts and/or hoodies to everyone. The Kit Sec has the job of giving the squash club an identity which will be visible all over campus. Tournament Secretary (new position!): This year intra-mural sport has had a revamp, but it needs to be promoted properly. The Tournament Sec will have this role, but will also be looking to run other events such as an intra-university tournament, doubles tournament, friendlies as well as being involved in the BUSA Individuals weekend. The Tournament Sec has quite a free role to organise events of his/her choosing and will be liaising with the Social Secs regularly. Social Secretaries (2 positions!): A vital role in the club, the social scene has never been better in Leeds University Squash but there’s plenty to be improved on. We need a couple of well motivated, fun loving characters to provide some great events next year. The couple will be involved not only in Wednesday nights but also in specific events like Varsity, Sports Ball and getting loads of support down for matches.
